Houston doesn't get much of a winter, but hair color still shifts with the season. As the summer sun fades, many guests want richer, warmer tones that look polished through the holidays and into the new year. Here's what our colorists are seeing this fall and winter.
Even in winter, Houston humidity can cause frizz that dulls shine. A gloss between color appointments refreshes tone, and a smoothing service like a Brazilian Blowout or keratin treatment helps color look sleek. Use color-safe, sulfate-free shampoo and a heat protectant.
All-over color is $108 and up, partial highlights $148 and up, partial balayage $155 and up and full balayage $310 and up. Prices vary by stylist level, length and density. See all services and prices.
It depends on your color and your hair's growth. Your stylist will recommend timing at your appointment; glosses can stretch the time between lightening sessions.
Going darker is usually gentler than lightening. Your colorist will choose a formula based on your hair history.
For big changes or color correction, we recommend a color consultation, which is $52 and up.
