Janelle has quite a pedigree, both in styling and educating. Becoming a master colorist at the Wella Color Institute in New York and studying cutting and styling at both the Aquage and Vidal Sassoon Academies. For over two decades, Janelle has specialized in color, hair and eyelash extensions, spray tanning, plus updos and makeup - especially bridal, trained by The Perfect Face Makeup Academy. With a passion for educating others, she has taught Babe Hair Extensions for the past 12 years, becoming a National Educator and International Educator along the way.This year she adds being named Top 3 hairstylist in Houston by The Houston Chronicle.

Dominic has been in the industry for 32 years and his work shows his impeccable experience. He began his French training with Jacques Dessange located here in Houston and also worked at the New York Salon. Dominic specializes in balayage, foil highlights, and haircutting. He loves the challenge of color correction while still leaving your hair in amazing condition. Dominic is great with updos, working with all hair types for your special event.

Patti has over 40 years of experience, studying at Toni & Guy under James Morrison, one of the original founders, then going on to open her own salon. With countless certifications including Great Lengths, straightening treatments, and color instruction in the top color brands, Patti has a love for long-hair, color, and bridal styles. She also enjoys men's grooming, excelling at coloring of hair and beards.

With three decades of experience, Rhonda is a seasoned pro. Not only is she a corrective color specialist but she can do an amazing updo in 20 minutes. While color is her passion, she is always learning new techniques - such as becoming hair extension-certified.  Rhonda is also thoroughly trained in Goldwell Color and a previous educator. When it comes to smoothing the hair she has been certified in Brazilian Blowout, Global Keratin, and Keratherapy.

Has been an assistant for 10 years. Before coming to the United States she owned a salon in the Dominican Republic. While there she specialized in relaxers, color, haircuts, braids, hair extensions. She came to the United States to provide a better life and education for their children. She is certified in Brazilian Blowout, does the most amazing natural hair styling, a strong blowdry, and is always up to date on the newest trends.

Deja Nicholes is originally from St. George, Utah, and grew up as a competitive dancer. She continued dancing at the College of Charleston, where she won a national championship and served as a two-year captain on the Cougarette Dance Team. Deja graduated in May 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in Sociology and hopes to one day pursue a career in social work.

After college, she relocated to Houston and spent two years dancing in the NBA. Deja has been with Janelle Alexis Salon for just under two years, starting as the receptionist and quickly becoming Janelle’s right-hand girl. She’s the friendly face you’ll see when you walk in, loves creating TikToks for the salon, and is always happy to lend an extra hand. With a lifelong passion for hair and makeup from her dance background, Deja loves being part of the beautiful transformations that happen in the salon every day.
